Prince's soothing instrumentals I've always enjoyed Prince's brief instrumental segues and codas that don't include percussion/beats. They usually sound soothing, pensive, and sometimes moody. As if he were exploring and emoting a feeling. For example:
- U Got the Look's long intro - Positivity's long outro
Besides Venus De Milo, wondering if there are more instrumentals like these, perhaps unreleased and in full versions?

I like Euphoria Highway and wish it were in better quality "I like to watch."

I listen to NEWS, C-Note, and Xpectation at work a lot. I loved his instrumentals, so delicate at points but also really dramatic and loose at others. if it was just a dream, call me a dreamer 2

. I love U Got the Look's long instrumental intro... but it definitely has percussion in it. .

Arboretum (Silence) is absolutely gorgeous. It took me a little while to listen to it again without getting down about Prince being gone.

There's a continuous loop of Gamillah out there. So pretty. I recently found an instrumental of Do Me Baby that's surprisingly mellow also. And the MUSIC continues...forever...

N.E.W.S is always the first thing I listen to on an airplane. I usually have a bit of anxiety early on when flying (not because of the flying, but because I'm claustrophopic) and it really helps to calm me. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

The song "Kamasutra" and its beautifully haunting 8 note melody that recurs throughout the Kamasutra lp, is stuck in my soul forever...

"Divinity" (1984)... Maybe not the most energetically calm track, but it still holds a fun little place with me... Also, "Cape Horn"... usually known as "Leaped7689"

I've had Xotica, Tokyo and Osaka on rotation recently. I've also always loved the first couple of minutes of Condition of the Heart. I wish that would have been a longer, purely instrumental piece.
