The other day I was whizzing along through the old internet, listening to some previously unreleased music, and analyzing what parts of a song I liked, and what was just OK. It was late at night, and a really crazy but intimate thought came to my pea brain.

I just thought, sometime probably late at night, Prince listened to this same music and was critiqueing every nuance. (We know he wrote it all, but it kinda made me feel more connected to him to think about him listening to each bar of music over and over, like me!) Seems simple, but with the eve of his passing, it actually made me feel better. I probably have not communicated this feeling effectively; will someone give me a shoutout if you understand what I was trying to say?

If not, maybe I should just go to bed a little earlier.............
