I can't believe it. I actually like 3 songs from this era! I listened to it years ago, but didn't like it then!!!! I'ma wait until April 19th, the proposed release of the Greatest Romance Ever Sold maxi-single and buy the Greatest(Neptunes Extended Remix).
I got Man O' War Remix and Silly Game. Those are cool. | |

Adam & Eve Remix is the only version worth listening to, for that guitar solo at the end  "Had to get off the boat so I could walk on water..." |

The star-studded remixes of Prince's 1999 single “The Greatest Romance Ever Sold” are now available for the first time on digital services, thanks to a partnership between the Prince Estate and Legacy Recordings. . As Prince — who was then identified only by his unpronounceable symbol — neared the end of the millennium and the year he famously dreamed about in his music, 1999, he teamed up with Clive Davis and Arista Records to create his most collaborative album ever, Rave Un2 The Joy Fantastic. For the first time in his career, Prince invited a handful of high-profile artists to make cameos on the album, from the rappers Chuck D and EVE to pop artists Sheryl Crow and No Doubt's Gwen Stefani, and the trailblazing indie-folk artist Ani DiFranco. . "The Greatest Romance Ever Sold" was released as the album's first single, along with remixes that further showcased Prince's eye for emerging talent. In addition to the original track and radio edit, the single included mixes by the Neptunes (the production duo of Pharrell Williamsand Chad Hugo) that featured Q-Tip; mixes by the house DJ Jason Nevins; and an "Adam and Eve" remix by Prince that featured the rapper EVE.
