Jeff katz shared (in his FB account) a pic (SOTT era: Prince sitting) which is not part of the 78 pic.

No plans for a book at this time. There were some more great pictures shown. They basically said the photos are "art" and they don't want to cheapen them by having them in a book. That was my take on it. Paisley Park has added about 10 of the prints in the awards hallway. I would guess that there are going to be different prints availabe at a later time.

Jeff Katz was showing more photos at Celebration. There was a color one of him standing in the grass on the Galpin property with the gazebo in the background. He had sunglasses on. I know I've seen a different pic of him in the same outfit, but can't find it. He had on yellow pants and a multi colored shirt. Jeff said he loved to take documentary type photos, but that Prince didn't let him take too many like that. There were 3 black and whites that I can remember. The one of him in the dressing room flexing, and the two that aren't part of the 78 he has up now. One was him shooting pool from D&P era and the other I think was from Lovesexy sitting in a chair and looking in the mirror getting ready to put mascara on.

I think they may be getting ready to add more photos. I was looking on the site and there was a 79th black and white at the bottom numbered 296 of Prince playing pool. It's gone now.

Excellent photos and Afshin's photos are still impressive. Don't get it twisted.

I think Afshin Shahidi is good, but to much photoshop going on in his photos, still good photos but not as impressive as Jeff Katz.

All of Prince’s professional photos were edited - even back in the 80’s. It just was ‘t called “Photoshop” back then But yes, no doubt the “touch-ups” increased in later years.

I know, but in Afshin Shahidi's photo it's to apparent.

All of Prince’s professional photos were edited - even back in the 80’s. It just was ‘t called “Photoshop” back then But yes, no doubt the “touch-ups” increased in later years.

I think that response happened, because in my prior post to you I was essentially agreeing with you - along with some additional thoughts, and you commented again repeating what you had initially posted.

I don't need giant photography of Prince on my wall. So, a book would be more apt to work for me. Someday they will come out in book form. (crosses fingers)
