Okay y'all. I'm sorry I posted that photo last night. I was looking around trying to figure out what rdhull meant by Al B's are when I saw it. I found it interesting because Prince posted it himself - and it is a true record of the man at that time - without realizing how much it would change the thread.

I love the ones of him sitting on the window ledge looking out at the snow during the SOTT time period. Wondering if they were shot at the Galpin house.

Any photo identified as "Chanhassen" is from the Galpin residence. That differentiates them from the ones identified as "Paisley Park".
The rollerskating photo was taken on his tennis court at Galpin.

I don't think Prince would've allowed that photo to be released.

What difference does it make if a photo you don't like costs 2.5k? So what? Mass produced electronics can cost as much. Other people like the photo. As someone said upthread, is another artist not allowed to make a living? If you look at his page on the site he has a long long (partial) list of people he has photographed. It's his career and he is amazing at it, geesh.

No plans for a book at this time. There were some more great pictures shown. They basically said the photos are "art" and they don't want to cheapen them by having them in a book. That was my take on it. Paisley Park has added about 10 of the prints in the awards hallway. I would guess that there are going to be different prints availabe at a later time.
