Did Prince have some form of early dementia? Anna Fantastic mentioned that a family member told her that Prince was suffering from early onset Alzheimer's.
Now Apollonia mentions the topic in a interview.
Kotero recalled some of her last conversations with Prince, saying they talked about "family, his parents, politics, love, death, dementia, our marriages."
"We discussed the issues that we had. All of the things that we didn't discuss before," she continued. "I just looked, like, 'Man, we're growing up. We're old folks now.' He gave me the look like, 'Ain't no old folks here.'" https://www.newsday.com/e...1.31976385 There seems to be a number of things that support that theory. Whether it was forgetting the combination to the vault or having difficulty remembering to eat/drink or thinking Brown Mark played guitar or the disjointed train of thought during interviews or bringing Kirk back to handle the day-to-day business or moving to a more free-form concert format along with the iPad songbook or the handwritten lyrics to U Got The Look found in his belongings. Alot of his decisions from 2013 on make sense if you view it as him fighting against the memory loss while also trying to stay excited about the future and getting his affairs in order.
