I don't recall ever seeing any specific timeframe for the Tidal release, or in fact, any concrete information about it since the press release last year

I think that they may very well put something out with little if any warning. Putting it out exclusive may hurt sales or streams and thus revenue. I do not have tidal...but I will get it and I am not sure I will wait. But if it comes out physical I will buy it... for sure.

And April 7 would be 41 years since For You was released.

it is digital so they can release it any time they like... the old Tuesday and current Friday typical release days are just what they do... but even a physical release can be released on any day the powers that be want.
