Thoughts on the edit of Do Me, Baby? I've always listened to the album version on Controversy, but for whatever reason I decided to play the version on the Hits/B-sides compilation, and I have to say I really like it. It's cool how it segways from Head too. . What are your thoughts? A certain kind of mellow.

My thought is that a segue is a transition from one thing to another; a segway is a battery power electric vehicle. Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

I prefer the edit. As hilarious as his shivering and 'I'm so cold, hold me' shit is, I can live without the last couple of minutes of the album version

I miss his awesome scream in the edit. I got two sides... and they're both friends.

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

In my best Beavis & Butthead voice... “that’s the best thing I’ve read all year” I also imagined a video of the song ending, Prince getting on a segway and zooming to the video of the next song. Thank you! The Earth is but one country and mankind its citizens.

Fully agree, always loved the way it segues in from the end of "head". Part of the reason why TheHits/B-Sides will always be his best compilation, masterfully put together and sequenced. And yes, I prefer the edited version too. We're here, might as well get into it.
