Have you heard the song 'Donna'? The song 'Donna' is from the FOR YOU sessions and would fit perfectly onto the TRUTH album. Can't believe I never heard anything about it before, it's fantastic. Nice to know there are still unheard gems out there! “Tuna, you better do something or else we gonna have to put you back in the can!”

Heard it on a 4cd set called 'Studio Nights'- all demos and out-takes from the early days. Have you ever heard the band REBEL? Apparantly they are a Prince band that he sang with a London accent - a bit like Spinal Tap. I'm pretty sure it's Prince coz there is a track at the end of Prince and a girl talking and messing about in studio - very odd!
Anybody know more about it? “Tuna, you better do something or else we gonna have to put you back in the can!”

Those late-70s Prince demos are COOL!! I wish he would release them all on a CD,something like "Prince: The Early Years" or something. Those songs are great.

'...but I guess it wasn't meant to be". Yes, cool acoustic heartbreak little number, just the type of thing that hooked me into P's stuff in the first place.
Now, if only somebody issued a collection of those demos, instead of another upteenth edition of 'One Man Jam'... . "You don't frighten us, English pig dogs. Go and boil your bottoms, sons of a silly person."
