But he's MUSICALLY talented. That doesn't automatically equate to exhibiting the same mastery of movie making. To be successful he'd have to turn over most of the decision making to the people who DO make movies as a "day job." Michael Jordan couldn't make it in baseball either.

Graffiti Bridge sucks a big fat log. It so bad its NOT funny. I can't stand that piece of SHITE! It literally makes me nausiated.
Under The Cherry Moon is pretty embarrassing too, but it has its moments. It is watchable...kinda like a car accident. Purple Rain...a decent rock n roll movie. Nothing to write home about, but its fun and the musical performances are incredible. People where dancing in the aisles during The Bird when I saw this in the theater back in 84. I have never seen that in a movie theater (well...besides Rocky Horror). Sign 'o' the Times...the only truly great Prince movie. Simpley because its Prince at what he does best...its also backed by the strongest music of his career.  | |

I really enjoyed Graffiti Bridge - it was when I first turned onto Prince - was after seeing the movie in a theatre. I looked at it more as an extended video than a movie.
