The re releases have entered the Billboard 200 this week, full week numbers and world wide numbers to be posted soon.

Wrong. Those chart positions are from last week's Billboard Top Album Sales chart, which counts physical and digital sales. The Billboard 200 is the "main" album chart, and though it was traditionally based on pure sales, they've altered the formula to heavily favor streaming. These re-releases didn't land on that chart at all.

There's also the Vinyl Albums chart, which only counts sales on vinyl (not CD, digital, or streaming). The three albums were #3, 7, and 11 last week, but they fell out of the top 25 on the new chart issued today. Purple Rain, however, is constantly listed on that chart.

That's a shame. 3121 was the first Prince album I ever heard so I have a bit of a soft spot for that. Musicology too. If the powers that be ever get around to releasing outtakes, I'd gladly buy anything from that time period.
