he said notihng about 45. That you take those tweets as truth is disturbing.
Oh please, nothing is disturbing about it, and if Spike didn't say anything, then why did the President reply? Spike, among many others took digs at the President about the wall and immigration, as usual, what show were you watching?
All Spike said was let's choose love over hate. If the word hate instanly triggers thoughts of talking about 45, maybe he and his supporters should stop being so damn hate-filled. I knew from the start that I loved you with all my heart. |

From what I see, it's the left and their supporters that are so damn hate-filled, constantly going after President Trump and his supporters, angrily attacking them in public and on social media, shouting in their faces, etc! I don't see Trump or his supporters instructing them to "get into the faces and harrass those on the left, like those like Maxine Waters has......is that choosing love over hate? I have my own mind, and I refuse to jump on the hate Trump bandwagon, like some choose to. So, if you proclaim to choose love over hate, then why not choose love over hate for ALL, including our President! |

I posted about Spike's comments. It was part of the awards. Trump called him a racist in a tweet afterwards.
If you want to talk political smack about the left and Maxine Waters, there is an entire Politics & Religion forum that many of us post on regularly. Off-topic potshots.

Thought Spike looked great ! Woot.
I've seen Night of the Hunter and that bit hasn't belonged to Robert Mitchum since 1989. |

Maybe not, but if you look at earlier posts in this thread, that movie was a big influence on Spike Lee and he holds it in high regard; he mentioned it in interviews apparently, which is something I didn't know. I brought it up because that movie made a big impression on me when I was young, too... P.S. "Do The Right Thing" is on my all time top movie list. Directors put nods to other movies in their movies. It's a tradition. Just like musicians with answer songs to other songs. "if you can't clap on the one, then don't clap at all" |

I was fortunate enough to attend The Grown Up Awards a couple a weeks ago with Spike as he won an Award for his latest project "Blackkklansman". I'm glad that he's STILL honoring Prince's legacy in the RIGHT WAY like I knew he would.
Was that Guitar was given to Spike by Prince or Tyka or somebody else? |

Spike Lee is so busy hating Trump that I doubt this was a real Prince Tribute. A real tribute would be him taking the Revolution with him to the show and having them do a song to try to bring this country together. |
