Probably, but I was thinking possbily Susan Moonsie, as she was in the mix during that time too. She has also been extremely private so it would make sense that she wanted to remain anonymous as well. Just a guess...

Could have been taken by someone in his camp who found it in a box in later years. Or, could have been something that a girl had with her while dating Prince. Susannah had the UTCM notebook. She didn't "steal" it from Prince. If he had wanted to keep it he would have made it a point to have it only in his possession, or he would have asked her for it back.

I will say that it seems, based on a YT video by a guy who worked at PP briefly in the mid 90's, that Prince's crew were not always careful with how they disposed of his old stuff. The guy was given an old notebook, with what appeared to be Prince's handwritten notes for a film script, by his friend who also worked at PP and was asked by Duane Johnson to throw it away. He sold it sometime later because he needed money for music equipment. Prince's lawyers sent him a letter threatening a law suit, but the guy had legal help and once his attorney responded there was no further action.

Mathuis ( lenny kravitz manager) told me the notebook came from an ex girlfriend from high school, not from Nadeera , she was another girl ( who wrote the break up note)

Ahhh, well there you go. It's doubtful that she stole the notebook. I'm sure she saved it back then as a "memento", and then I'm sure kept it for both nostalgia and value in later years

Funny with Nadira's note - when I first looked at it I thought it was a serious thing...until I read it more closely to see that she was quoting song and movie titles all through the "breakup" note

So.......I wonder if "Am I Wrong", "All I Want (Just A Little Love)", and "Just One Night With You" were real songs that may be filed away in the vault? "I Feel For You" is in the notebook too so maybe? Or maybe they were just ideas that were never committed to tape. Also love that handwritten tracklist for the second album.
