Me too, I tune in every weekend. Was afraid the questions would be really generic, but they did a little homework.
Is the story really that Prince asked to be called Skipper? Never heard that before.

I don't know, and I also didn't know Boozer gave Prince back the money after Prince restored his home. That was cool.

The money was a deposit. P had paid to have Boozer's own decorations and carpeting professionally removed and stored so that it could all be put back.
The lawsuit was initiated by Boozer's "decorator" wife. But the couple had been sued themselves by the owners of a rental home, who accused the Boozers of stealing the home's washer and dryer.
Utah Jazz stories LOL. [Edited 2/18/19 13:36pm] Welcome to "the org", laytonian… come bathe with me. |

Thanks for the info, Laytonian!
In other TV-related Prince news, on Sunday night Fox showed two episodes of "Family Guy" and each had a Prince reference.
The first one was a new episode. Peter is at Fenway Park, really needs to use the bathroom, and the line in the men's room is too long. He sees a nouse in the ladies' room and flees, whereupon a guy mistakes him for a transgender person and says, "You can use that bathroom". It has the tansgender symbol on the door:
Peter says, "Isn't that Prince's bathroom? I can't use that bathroom, I'm not Prince!"
The second episode was a repeat - it's the one where at the end, the Griffins are exterminating their house and Chris and Meg get stuck. As the fumes overcome them, Prince (and Alan Thicke) appear in the wall and become them to "come to the purple light". |
