Do you think there is significance in the one-word titles of the 1993/4 tracks?

I remember from around that time that the reviews/interviews pertaining to Come/post-Hits era, mentioned specifically that the songs from this period were one word titled - i.e. it was intentionally this way.

Do you think the number of one word title songs from this period have significance as a whole?

LetItGo is what ruined this for the Come album smile

No I think Prince just had a bunch of songs that by accident only had one word titles so he bunched them together.

At it's original inception, there WERE only one word titles in the tracks that were SUPPOSEDLY going to add up to one long coherent sentence.

confuse

Referring to Boris Fishpaw's list, I think that sentence might sound more coherent if formed by POOK.

That's interesting - I hadn't seent that before.

This period interests me, it was just after I'd got into Prince, and bootlegs (I got into bootlegs before I had all the albums) - and hearing all those Come/GE tracks was fantastic.

It seemed like the batch of songs from around the time of the name change really had some magic about - it seemed like the name change was gonna inspire some great music - that didn't long I guess, but what the hey!

Totally agree.

If ever there was a period with enough top class material to fill a triple album, this was it.

In the end, the 'Come' album turned out to be a great deal less than the sum of its (originally intended) parts.

In other words, 'Come' would have been a killer album had it included a small number of the tracks that were issued in 'Crystal Ball'. You know which ones they are.
