The Get Down - probably an unreleased track from 82/83 (rehearsal session take?) is now in circulation?....my head is empty....is this a new thing or this thing was already available before ...i don't remember..so much things from the Vault!

The Get Down (Purple Rain like song) has been widely circulating since at least 2017, that's when I got it and I think everyone on here to.

Sounds like a rehearsal.

Shame there is so much echo on the vocals.

One can hardly understand what he says.

It almost seems like this is Prince all alone.

We only hear a drumbeat loop and (1 type of) keyboards and his solo vocal.

That's right. It's on the Prince: The Second Coming Volume Two bootleg. It's just a rehearsal.

some of the synths sound like "The Belle Of Sr Mark"

Linn drumm in full effect! Creamy assed MN sound synths! Epitome of purple music, beofre the Parade change to traditional instruments/writing.
