Interesting how most of these song titles are included in the new NPGMC intro.

If you are expecting an unedited recording of the entire concert, you better wake up. It will no doubt be like the Rave DVD and the ONA box set with some excellent editing and production.

nope!

dec 31st 2003.

& looking at that setlist, there is no way P would put this out unedited.

i saw Whole Lotta Love, & im dying 2 c him get ugly on that.
i dont like the odds of it appearing on the DVD tho.

what i dont get is if P is all about 'realmusic by real musicians' he shouldnt have 2 edit things down 2 a tee & overdub.
raw unedited = live!

cos joshy sed so!
lol

That WAS the whole show, from what I remember. It was a fantastic show that night. I still get excited when I think about it, now I'm going to be able to see it on DVD, eventually. I can't wait!!!

Man. Where was that setlist when the man playesd Atlanta? Not that i'm complaining about what he DID play...

Wonder why he kept the covers in the DVD, but not the 3 cd set...(?) I assumed it had to do with royalties, but wouldn't he owe the same if he published them on the DVD?

Let's wait and see.
I don't think there will be cover songs on the DVD.
I fear that there will be heavy editing and I really fear there will be no complete show.

A full ONA show on DVD would be awesome !

This is simply the set-list from the actual concert that was filmed, and which will presumably be the basis for the DVD. He's never announced any set-list, and as to your question about covers, I would expect that they will be deleted due to the royalty issue you mentioned. (I do hope he sucks it up financially and leaves them in though.)

He could change the name and not pay the royalties like he did with "Red House" on the Rave DVD (Blues Jam) smile
