Prince anecdote briefly stops a quiz show in its tracks. Love this moment where a whole TV studio stops to be amazed that one of the celebrity contestants once danced with Prince: https://youtu.be/Tzy3670vNAI?t=716
(In case I've messed up the link, skip to 11m56s.)
To give some context, it's a UK quiz show called "House of Games" and one of the recurring rounds gives you 3 events that you have to put in the correct chronological order. And one of the events is always related to a member of the opposite team. Latest track: https://soundcloud.com/li...-connexion

Naga's 21st birthday was on 25th February 1996. I know P was a player, but 11 days after his marriage to Mayte? I can't see it being more than a flirty dance. Was Breakfast on the Beeb. Lisa Stansfield asked her. Lisa appeared to be drunk.

While very cool, that's a bit of a clickbait headline. The show didn't 'stop in its tracks', they talked about it naturally. This sort of thing is very common in uk game/panel shows which have celebrity guest panels. These shows are more of an hybrid chat show/game show, where the guests add stories and entertain the viewers. See 8 out of 10 cats, Have I Got News For You, QI, Never Mind The Buzzcocks and about a million others. There was also a big reaction the previous question where one of the guests had been in a Star Wars movie, but again, that all flowed in with the format of the show stopping nothing in its tracks. The premise of this round of the show is even designed for this because each of the questions has an event involving one or more of the guests.

Not so much drunk as just being northern English, from what I can see.
(I'm northern English, so I'm allowed to say that)
