i like it too but the mock Prince funeral is hard to watch, for me. Even though it depicts saying goodbye to the "old" Prince, i dunno, maybe im waay too sensitive still.

Yeah,I've avoided watching it because of that but I have no problem listening to the song.

I'm th opposite. The video doesn't bother me at all but I find the song to be shit.

I've always liked the cheekiness of it I guess. I also love the car horn synths.

I always thought with a guitar lick instead of that keyboard fill after "FACE DOWN!", it could've been a hit like Gett Off. It just needs a tad more oomph.

No way. It's a nice video but the music is better.

A couple of points :

• Notice the convertible BMW? He probably liked the beemers.
• He pretends to play the violin and the saxophone or does he really?
• He's talking about wills and caskets, in reality he didn't care for any of them.

Man... that song was probably the highlight of the JAM OF THE YEAR tour. Just a ridiculous funk workout.

And the video is Prince showing his silly side... not a good video but makes me smile.

only a long-time fan can appreciate.
To a noobie, this song doesn't make any sense at all.

As for the music, just when you think the studio version
can't give you more of a funk face, leave it to Prince
to distort your delicate features even further.

Oh yeah, another great take on the song, love this performance too. I'd be hard-pressed not to be thrilled with any performance of this song, I've always been taken with it

Not at all. The only sadness I feel is for the dolts out there who believe that Prince wrote this song to let only the smartest fans know he was gonna die and that WB would have something to do with it. I'm not sure if that is stupidity or mental illness, TBH. You know those fools are out there (on here). The song is great. I wish the instruments were different, but what can you do?
