Prince music makes in-roads with in-laws! So my oldest son just got married to the love of his life. And her parents are perfect. Wealthy, beautiful and in great shape. And my husband and I...are not. We are more your typical middle aged types, expanding waistlines and all. So the people we are going to future grandparent with are a little intimidating. And we don’t really know what to talk about or find common ground with them about. Until! We find out that they are originally from Minnesota! Aha! The magic name of Prince is uttered, along with a copy of his Piano and a Microphone 1983 release from us to them as a welcome-to-the-family type thing and it’s like we’ve known them forever! They have some awesome concert stories and Prince sightings that kept us talking forever. Prince still has the ability to bring all types of people together.😀 just thought I’d share!

Great story, always nice when people connect over a Prince conversation. Miss meeting new people inline at a concert. "Prince don't know how many hits he got"
