They just monetize the original 8:35 video.
Why have the estate the rights to this performance and not the others ? Like, let s say, the Grammy awards with Beyonce?

I remember back in the day people thought Prince was on coke during this. There are a few threads on here about it from years ago.

No clue. Just remember seeing someone suggest that and being taken aback because I had never heard any rumors about that at the time. Wierd how certain things get burned into your memory...

IIRC that performance was produced by Paisley Park, not the TV channel.

Thus producing new edits of those tracks with fade ins and fade outs that I have to add to my site as if I needed the extra work mad
