Thanks, Latin. The writer could have done a little more research. He says Sometimes it Snows in April was about "a friend".

Yeah... I can imagine that song might be pretty rough to get through for many, especially those that are unsuspecting and just happen to start listening to the lyrics.

Gracias. Love this song so much. Mentioned it another thread, but damn, I think a short documentary could be made around the song and the evening he played it live. That article links to another interview, and damn, how cool would an album of Hendrix joints have been? Too bad that never happened.

I lost my husband in a tragic accident 4 weeks ago and I could not bear to listen to this song this holiday season. In fact, I'm not sure I will ever be able to listen to it again ;(
