There's a band called the Revolution that travels around playing some decent versions of Prince songs. Or at least so I've heard. I'm seeing them in a couple of weeks to check them out for myself.

The blatant thing to me is, it sounds totally stupid being sung by an heterosexual man. I can picture Dave Gahan moaning this (althought the Cadillac reference would be alien), but a sunday BBQ family guy like Grohl? "Make a request" for what? More ribs? I like Grohl, but his ubiquitous love for pop makes him do strange, uninteresting choices. "Darling Nikki" was already ludicrous.
