A program on VH1 that I saw said, like Rio stated, that that woman was indeed a random dancer/model, and not anyone connected to Prince (i.e. Cat, Sheila, etc.)

The program also claimed that the story was that Prince felt she wasn't quite beautiful enough in the face and that's why she wore the black scarf over her head during the entire video, and that when the video was through shooting he gave her the scarf as a "gift", and she wasn't quite sure how to take that gesture. lol

Her name is Monique Manning (sp?). The reason I know this is because on one of the episodes of Friday Night videos which featured Prince Kadeem Hardison said that she was a friend of his.

Having this information on the top of my head must make me the ultimate fam

Anybody know for sure if she danced in anything else Prince related?

I've read someone say she was also in a later Prince video and was also in 'Grafitti Bridge'.

so, considering that it's Wendy, this mannish-looking woman, and Prince in the video, i'm going to say that out of these 3, the WOMAN in the "kiss" video is Prince
