It strongly feels like a Vanity 6 outtake, and a very popular pop song from the 80s that I cannot recall the name right now. The boldened part reminds me of a few people from back then who talked about Prince connecting through 'silence' lol... or Lovesexy

WHat's always stunned me about this very specific song is that the backing track is a sonic wall, it's incredibly loaded, even by Prince's standards.

I love the whole album..it came at the right tme and had enough pop mixed with the Prince MN sound..a step up from just the funk jamming of her first .
