I would kill to hear rehearsal tapes from this era. We know this band rehearsed/played Rebirth Of The Flesh, Bob George, Superfunkycalifragisexy, etc, they must have tried out LeGrind, Cindy C, Rock Hard In A Funky Place, etc., at some point as well. could be, but the tag I received was late 87. Could be the Parade era. I know there is a woman behind him. You can see her hands and her arm and hair. I didn't post this because I thought that was all of Prince's hair back there. I'm thinking Sheila E, Jill Jones or actress Troy Beyer

Boy, Prince DID NOT like to be rejected!!!!! Poor Cindy, although I'm sure she still liked having a song written about her

Oh, the outfits Sheila had to wear That alone showed her dedication to Prince and his music!

From my understanding that 1 legged outfit was 'designed' by Patti LaBelle for Sheila
Did Sheila E have it first or did Flo-Jo?

Interesting trivia! Have to compare the dates. I think the first time Sheila wore it would have been either the MTV music awards or the 1st Ave SOTT tryout show earky 1987.

I've often wondered whether that was the case. It seems to fit. Your Love (1986) - that arpeggiator line :

I have mixed feelings about the whole Black Album thing. It's one of my favourites and part of me wishes that he'd released it, but then we wouldn't have Lovesexy.
