. WTF? That is even worse than the studio recording things. I mean: what gear did they have around in 2007? HD must have been not too hard to do.

Maybe it was filmed on a phone....
Because the only real exposure the song got when it came out was that it was featured on a commercial for some phone company; Verizon if I remember?
Maybe the tie-in was going to be that it was shot on their phone? |
