I love that video so much even though it is a very simple and basic , cheaplooking video but to me it epitomizes the 1999 album with its cold, electronic Funk, its dark themes of S&M, unrequited love, that deep, thumping, robotic drumbeat. His look is so cool and I like the way the video starts with that shot of him. His hair looks great, the captainĀ“s hat looks cool and unusual and thereĀ“s so much blue and purple in the video . The girls look great and I really like that Prince obviously didnĀ“t have a problem with Lisa smoking a cigarette in the video. And Jill Jones looks so hot in the video. That torture scene matches the songĀ“s lyrics perfectly and even though the whole thing is very dated I still enjoy watching it immensely and to me it seems timeless. I really like the visual appeal of the video, the whole vibe, just the right amount of everything. Even the amount of dry ice fog used in it is perfect !
