Video: Do Teens Know 90s Music? The REACT channel did a video asking teens if they know 90s music. I think the 6:23 mark is where you'll find something most interesting. Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

Some kids do, it just depends on who they hang around. My grandson was at my house a few weeks ago, and I was playing Prince music while cleaning house. (as usual) He is only 13, but from the loft bedroom he yells, "Hey, could you play that last song again!?" It was America. He says, that would be a great song for us to do in Jr. High choir.
So, it is our responsibility to educate the next generation, so they can be exposed to all the right stuff. I was so blown away by that Blackish episode, I can't even tell you.
Good morning children...take a look out your window, the world is falling...

Kids these days tend to not know anything from before the day they were born... Hard to believe I've been on the org for over 25 years now!

I'm 28 years old. I still consider myself to be young. But this makes me feel really fucking old.

I wouldn't say fault necessarily but the curiosity is begun by the parents. And even then sometimes a child might have one parent who is in to the pablum top 40 of the day and the other parent a deep track, razor's edge, all genuine musical style realist that likes to compare and contrast artists and musical elements.----------------------------------------------With information at our fingertips these days, if someone wanted to become an armchair musicologist it would not take the effort that WE had to expend!!!! Style is the second cousin to class

This was funny to watch, thank u for sharing it! They seemed impacted by the frank nature of some of the songs, Snoop, Shania, and Prince included. And the guitar solos. Kinda reassuring. If this is 90s renaissance time then I’m all for these kids learning and taking cues from some of the tunes. Even Hootie is touring. if it was just a dream, call me a dreamer 2
