The Colors R brighter, the Bond is much tighter
No Child's a failure
Until the Blue Sailboat sails him away from his dreams
Don't Ever Lose, Don't Ever Lose
Don't Ever Lose Your Dreams
Surely the time has come for fans to say a united, 'NO'!
It seems to be widely assumed that anyone can create anything with a Prince reference and the fans just lap it up!
A very clear message needs to go out that fans will no longer be used and Prince's legacy will no longer be abused.
Yesterday even Steve Parke launched a new tshirt design assuming us Prince fans would automatically love it and would want to buy it. Even though he has produced some amazing work, this new design is truely awful and it is time for fans to say, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!
How much longer do we have to endure Prince's legacy being raped and pillaged for a dollar or two?
Sadly the Estate is no better by producing overpriced poor quality merchandise. Even the quality of Prince's music has been criticised, for example the Purple Rain remaster and the highly compressed low quality videos and audio on YouTube.
The only way we can fight against this is to make our voices heard and to not buy the merchandise until this whole situation is reined in.
Currently the abuse is very USA centric, which oddly was a market that turned it's back on Prince for the last two decades.
What we need is severe control over what is acceptable and the level of quality needs to be improved dramatically.
Ahem. Not exactly anatomically correct. They forgot something.
It's the Penis Police! Quick, Girls! Full blasts!
