Proposed development sign at Paisley Park

Looks like this sign went up in the past 2 weeks or so. I couldn’t find any information on it on the city’s website.

There's also the phone number on the sign to call...

Thanks. I was on that website. Missed it. Odd that requesting a permit to allow 3rd parties to offer alcohol at special events during the holidays requires a sign like that. Most of the time that sign is related to construction.

You'd think Chanhassen could afford a zoning change sign.
Hopefully, fam won't go nuts over this like they did during approval of that one Super Bowl event. https://www.ci.chanhassen...-Amendment

That event apparently went off without any issues I’m sure any others will too. And yes that sign needs to go, and why do they even need any signage for a one month zoning change?

Speaking of PP, whatever happened to that Housequake rumor of PP being in serious trouble?

Something is up. They wouldn't use that sign for liquor permit.

No. Purple and green are the colors of the city of Chanhassen.

Yeah it seems odd to have a sign like that up for a drink permit. But it’s the only thing listed on the city’s website.

Yeah, I don't think it's for a drink permit though.

Proposed Developments

Proposed Development Signs

Have you seen this sign around Chanhassen? When a land owner proposes development of their property the city posts these signs on the affected property approximately three weeks prior to the public hearing at the Planning Commission. The city encourages and welcomes public input and comments on development in our community.

The purpose of the sign is to inform the public of the proposal and invite public interaction.

Because a permit for liqour is a proposal of property development. And was this sign up last Jan/Feb when they served liquor for the SB?

I would agree that this sign would indicate some type of further construction plan, and not just a liquor permit. I have never heard of this type of sign being installed on property grounds during the process of obtaining a permit to serve liquor. Permit information is usually taped to the front window or door of a property. Hard to say for sure, because every city/state has varying requirements with regard to property ownership and construction.

They put that eyesore of a tent back up. I wish they would get rid of it permanently. I was told it was going to be used for the Timberwolves event this coming Thursday.
