#therollingstones show. My concert with #prince. He wasn’t happy. His face tells the story. However, when e got to Pittsburgh’s #stanleytheaterthe #purplefamily was in full force and we felt the love. Full story will be in my upcoming book.

And to respond to E319, I agree. I sort of wish The Revolution as a whole would write a book, the way Motley Crue or the original MTV VJs did, each telling their side of a story. That would be pretty amazing.

All the Susannah stuff, the favoring of the girls, Matt staying on after Parade, Dez's exit and Wendy coming into the band. All these little snips we hear in interviews on DVDs or radio shows, plus more would be in a book - stuff we've never heard. Prince would never tell the whole truth anyway. He'd tell his truth, which we know wasn't always 100% accurate. The Revolution would be respectful but blatantly honest at the same time.

Apparently security wasn't what it is now at that time... I only saw the Rolling Stones one time in my life and that was in 1997...and their fans don't play! Pearl Jam opened for the Stones and were booed and verbally abused by restless Stones' fans; if they had had beer bottles and raw chicken, they would have thrown them at Pearl Jam, no doubt!
