I thought of this yesterday. I was 14 and this album defined me. Childish, but true. If it was an 80's movie, I would have been the "Prince" kid as the token minority.
This was also the sign off for my HS yearbook. Piss off you "polaroids" !

I've always found it fascinating that the Purple Rain Tour kicked off on the 4th day of November. Not sure if Prince had planned things that far out or not. If not, it's still a heck of a coincidence.
