Then, when Housequake relaunched as a Facebook page, I remained on the Org because I'm not interested in timelines. Yet, Housequake was a much more civil place, but both Housequake and the Org have folks that can provide interesting insights and cool finds.

Also, while I've been a Prince fan since 1978, your story isn't that different than a lot of folks. Many folks became fans at a later point in Prince's career and, then, discovered his earlier works. Even drummer Micahel B tells the story of not being the biggest Prince fan until Lovesexy, and, after that, he fell in love with the earlier work.

You know what's interesting, as a kid I always thought the self titled album was his first album. My mom always spoke fondly of him during that era so i assumed it was his first. I learned that For You was his first in high school and never paid it any mind. Honestly I think I'm well versed in his music from Prince-Hit N Run II BUT I did skip some stuff come mid 2000s. I remember I was rolling my eyes at him and Michael when they wore this UGLY ASS blue latex shit and Prince was wearing these OLD STIFF ASS braids at an awards show. He was embarassing me lol. So I think I stopped caring from N.E.W.S till MAYBE Musicology, he had a few bops here and there but I'm discovering more and more music since I had left him alone after he died for awhile.
