This lyric comes from the song "Objects in the Mirror" off the "One Night Alone" CD. I have always thought that Prince's reference to putting his "load in the dryer" had a sexual overtone to it. Does anybody else feel this way?

The whole song has sexual overtones to it, actually. But I like it. We know for sure that Prince is not singing about doing his laundry - lol!

It is such a crass, jismy, spoogish, lyric... I'm embarrased, but isn't that what his goal is? To make you red.

I love the song as well, it's always in my head.

First couple of times hearing it, I thought he was actually talking about laundry; Since they brushed their teeth in the same sink, and pose in the mirror together. I pictured him and his love interest (Mani, more than likely) in a house chillin', washing clothes and goofin' off. That's what my sweetie and I do.

But listening to the song over and over, I stood corrected, with a red face as well
