Just tossing in here that opiates are capable of both sedating and energizing effects. One discussion of this: https://www.researchgate....ome_humans
thx for the link. reading... and we know he was a hugh fan of 5hr energy. i have never taken those, anyone know what it would equate to in coffee? are its effects not as jittery as coffee? i wonder if he took one or two of those things. he did seem to not lack energy in shows. Idk for sure, but I think it's more than coffee. I drink ALOT of coffee, but those energy drinks do a number on me. I don't like the way I feel from them, but they do work. I still prefer a good espresso. Strong coffee will make my heart "flutter" at times, but energy drinks just make me feel scrambled. I can't organize my thoughts or actions when my mind is racing in such a way. So while they do work they just don't work for me. Yikes!! Yes I have heard stories of football players high school mostly Dying from taking those and working out. Thx for reply. |

Again when ever the opioid crisis is brought up, Prince's name enters the picture.
Rightly so. An absurd death like this one needs the exposure. Tom Petty's too. Communicating or raising awareness about it is much needed prevention. Don't worry about the tabloids semi-lying shortcuts. Tabloids readers don't get to make laws. But if it takes celebrities, I won't mind the weaknesses of the world when it comes to role models and crucifixions. This too shall pass.

Thanks Latin!
When I watched this episode, I thought it was very telling that they had spoken with the Carver County attorney Mark Metz who indicated that the reason they couldn't find the source of the drugs Prince had is because those close to him wouldn't cooperate.

I know. I still don't understand how someone can refuse to talk to the police in a death investigation. And if they are his friends who seen him just about every day, (KJ, Meron) why would they not want to talk to the police? And why is KJ still tied so closely with the Nelson family?
Also rumor has it that Metz's wife was friends with KJ on Facebook while the investigation was going on???? It's going around in one of the facebook groups.

The more I have thought about the source of the drugs I feel that P. didn't buy them on line especially because he didn't use credit cards. I think he bought drugs with cash in large quantities at a time and he may have done this at concert venues.
With this premise, the only way an investigator is going to find the source is if his associates provide the information. I also think the main reason the associates won't/don't talk is because they were involved with the drug purchases.
If you "lawyer up", you don't have to talk to the police. |

Phaedra seemed to hold the purse strings. He also asked her to deposit $15,000 in Appolllonia, Brenda and Susan M's personal checking accts. |

I didn’t necessarily equate asking for funds as an exercise in cautious spending. But maybe it was. |

Yes I remember the $60,000 cash which I thought would most likely be used for drug buys. I know this is an assumption but to me it makes sense that you need to have a stash of cash for this purpose. |

And remember that any transaction $10,000 or over is required to be reported to the Feds. If she pulled $60K there must be a paper trail. |

You only have to report when your business receives a cash transaction over $10k.

Yes, this is important. You and I discussed the strangeness of the guy from Electric Fetus being there at the Atlanta shoe as well as the fact that he was one of only 3 that privately went to see Prince after the first show that night. The other 2 were Cee Lo and another artist. This was documented in investigation reports-Judith Hill’s admitted this. Prince also said that night in the hospital that ‘someone gave it to him to relax’. |

Not true. Any funds going into/out of an account or any cash transaction over $10,000 requires a CTR be filled out and filed with the IRS per patriot act. |

Hi Precioux!
Help me and give me the section in The Patriot Act where it states $10k withdrawn from an account must be reported. Seriously....I love learning something new every day.
Also, we are kinda saying the same thing. $10k deposited into an "account" (bank/business) over $10k must be reported.
