...why the Prince estate keeps cracking down on the sharing of live concerts between fans. I understand why they want to get rid of the sellers of bootlegs...but even Prince said he didn't mind the sharing of bootlegs between fans in the end. I just went to other famous artists/bands and downloaded live concerts from fan sites and listened to them. No hassle because those artists/groups have no problem with the FREE sharing of such boots. The Prince estate is doing itself a huge disservice in my opinion, not only that but it would be relatively easy to remix already recorded live concerts and sell them for $10 or $15 on Nugs.net the way Springsteen and other artists do. All I can do is shake my head. C'mon, estate, follow the tried and true methods of other artists, some of whom have been around longer than Prince...
