I'm not so sure about that. I think I can picture him sitting at his PC in his office picking out which questions he wanted to answer Or, he at least hand wrote the answers which then a staffer entered for him. It seems he was really into the web interaction with the fans at this time. He had done the AOL online fan Q&A ealrier that year too. He was doing so many interviews in the late 90's to promote his music and shows - I'm sure out of necessity, because he had no support from a major label.

Yes, he still looks good here, but this was not his thinnest. By the time he transitioned to the Afro, he had become much thinner. From 2013 onward, he became thinner each year. By the P&M tour in 2016 he was alarmiingly thin.

He was so very thin at the end, and he didn't have any muscle mass like he does in this picture. He looked really, really well in this picture.

Well I did say 2011/2012. Anyway I think there were times in the 90s as well as 2009 when he looked very skinny. I actually think he looked fine in 2013 & 2014 but the big fro didn’t do him any favors. At least not my favorite hairstyle. Maybe his arms weren’t as toned but I don’t think he looked alarmingly skinny like in 2016.

the pure people pic, i really can't with that level of thinness. What is the year on that pic.

I also wonder if the acoustic guitar piece was a way for him to take a break during the show. It was done around mid-point.

I actually liked many of his looks/styles throughout the years....1999/PR (because he was the trend setter), SOTT/LoveSexy (because he was in top form and looking gorgeous in anything he wore), GB/Nude tour (mainly the hair, but not the beard), Gold (especially the video), Jam Of The Year/Crystal Ball (loved his hair/outfits), RU2TJF (loved the hair, not the beard action), ONA (really liked his hair and look on that tour), and 2009 Montreux show.

Really the only periods that didn't impress me so much were the whole Get Off period with the "typhoon/backward bandana" hairstyle, the D&P/Act1 ActII tours (loved his body, but the hair and clothes....not so much), and the 1994 period where he became much thinner and wore the light makeup. Although, when I go back and watch some of the 1994 live shows the look is more sexy to me now - his whole angry FU demeanor with the skimpy clothes is actually hot

This pairing was so awkward to me. She's beautiful, but like an amazon woman next to him Just very different from the more petite women he usually dated. I guess by this point he didn't care about the height thing...

Yes, the "lollipop" phase...he had that going on for a couple of years Always funny how you can tell what year, or couple of years, a photo was taken of him by his look/style

Honestly the only time he didn’t look healthy to me was 2015/2016. Maybe 1993/1994 but I think that was more due to the makeup he was wearing than anything else.

Yes, the makeup in 93/94 made a difference, but he was also a bit thinner, which may have been a result of converting to a Vegetarian diet in 89/90. Although, I think it had more to do with stress in his personal and professional life back then.

I agree, he didn't look "sick" until 2015-2016. This is what Susannah discussed during her interview with Toure. She said she was worried after she saw his appearance on the AMA's in the orange outfit. She said she knew something was not right.
