Actually, Vanity had a very very nice butt - not too big in any way - and I'm a straight woman saying this. I would say, along with her facial beauty it was one of her best "assets" pun intended Jellybean Johnson, when talking about Vanity's body stated, "oh trust me, I used to stand behind her when she was on stage for Vanity 6, and that is an ass that would make you leave your home" Seriously, she did have a good one, and she often wore outfits to accentuate it. If you watch some of her solo performances post Vanity 6 you'll notice it. She would wear skin-tight dresses, and they showed off the perfect shape of her butt. She also did two spreads in Playboy - I've never seen those pics, but I'm sure there were several showing off her rear view.

But really, Prince always had a double standard when it came to relationships - his own cheating was never a problem, or he did not acknowledge it.

A few months after revealing that Vanity's departure was an inspiration for "The Beautiful Ones," he backed it up, revealing that she knew about it, connecting her to the song once more. Why do u think he called attention to her knowing about the song before performing it? You think he was relaying that she heard it on the radio?

All I had to do was search on "Vanity" to find the pictures. Any "kid' on this site who is interested in Vanity no doubt can or has seen the pictures, and probably the film too. In addition to Susan Rogers, he also made reference to Matt Fink's comments about his discussion with Prince about writing a ballad song after watching a Bob Seger concert. There were many personal things that came out in Alan Light's and Matt Thorne's books that I'm sure he would never have wanted the public to know. By 2013-2014 though, those people who had rarely or never spoken about their experiences decided to tell their stories, and they had every right to, because it was their history too. Suannah had never spoken publicly about their relationship.

Your opinion is that he retracted the article, because he did not want to embarrass Susan or others. Since when did Prince ever care about that? He has always said what he wanted to say at any given time, and did not apologize for it. I think it was his attempt to create a counter to things written in the books in order to keep the mystery intact. It was a retaliation of sorts, which he then decided against. Prince was known for making legal threats against former associates who spoke about their experiences, but he could not sue the publishing companies, because it is not illegal to write Biographies.

Just to note, the idea that Susan Rogers would break into Paisley Park and get at the Vault is enough to pull that article. It wasn't a sensible thought to think she would actually do that.
