Hola, se me hizo una idea: tener aquí en el foro una discusión, un hilo, que os guste, en español. Los fans venimos de muchos rincones del mundo y hablamos muchas lenguas, incluso español, y quisiera practicarlo. Desafortunadamente siento que olvido palabras españolas y quiero impedirlo. Pues, ¿hay una película con Prince que tenga subtítulos? ¿Y cómo se traduzcó el nombre del películo? Además, ¿existen unas versiones de canciones de Prince en español?

PS, Apologies if I've misunderstood your post. I never studied Spanish in school and only know the very small amount that I know from spending time with a Spanish girl I used to know and listening to some of the Spanish language music she recommended to me.

The only Prince song i personally can think of of that has Spanish in it (and there may be more but this is all i can remember for now, y'all feel free to add) is Te Amo Corazón. And i don't think it has much in it really.

And I don't know about whether the Purple Rain and Graffiti Bridge movies have subtitles or not because i don't personally have the DVDs, but i think the DVD of Under The Cherry Moon has subtitles that can be turned on, and maybe spanish is one of the languages? I can't quite remember but it might be.

There were a couple of lines in Spanish in afew songs. Of the top of my head, Get On The Boat (No te alejes de este momento de inspiración, although it is completely incomprehensible the way they sang it!), The end of Endorphine Machine ("Prince está muerto") and a conversation in a song from Emancipation (it might have been Damned if I Do), these last two by Mayte rather than Prince.

I think Mayte did a Spanish version of The Most Beautiful Girl In The World and If I Love U 2Nite, but they were awful. Her vocals were typically weak, and the lyrics had been translated literally, whether they fitted the music or not.

She says both - I believe that the special presentation is at the beginning of P Control and the Prince is dead is at the end of Endorphine Machine.

But Endorphine is not P Control
