LMAO! I quite honestly was just thinking about Prince's song "Kiss" because I just discovered last week, that all 9 seasons of "Dynasty" is up on Amazon Prime Video and I've indulged in binge-watching. Having grew up in the '80s, when I got to season 4, which premiered in the Fall of '83, also the exact time frame that Prince's Superstardom came to be, the memories of what LIFE was like back then, that I really hadn't contemplated in years, came flooding back.

So much of EVERYTHING that was going on in the world changed, that hearing Prince's lyrics from 1986, "You don't have to watch Dynasty...to have an attitude..." are very profound and remarkable to me.

I can't believe how close to the timing of the song the first verse in this version of Kiss is. Like i feel like this could be played with the instrumental and still be really close to the same timing as everything in the song, at least before it gets to the chorus and the timing of when the lyrics are said goes weird
