A life lost so young, it's really really sad. His quote about Prince passing was deep. "No one was ready for that. And no one knew how not ready they were." This was the honest truth. I would have never imagined how deep to the core it would hurt me and, unfortunately, how much it still hurts me.

Caught my ear because the beat was from Lord Finesse's "Hip 2 Da Game" (1995)

For such a young guy, he had tremendous insight. He really loved and appreciated Prince.

He also said that you (I am paraphrasing) have to be really OK with yourself to put out songs that are intimate and self-revealing and not care how people dissect them. I found him so interesting and real.

I never really knew about him until after his passing. Watching this video though, I realize dude's a true fan. And as such, he's family. And he was hurting like we all were when Prince died. And because of that, I hurt for us losing a member of our family with HIS passing. Sad all around...
