Hello All,

Not sure if this is the right forum, but I'm looking for Prince PVG books or any other sheet music, I'm not looking for the easier ones to obtain such as Ultimate, and Purple rain. I do remeber one from about '86 where is was wearing a yellow suit on the front cover.

Anyone able to point me in the right direction?

I know the one you mean. It's from 1988 and was published by IMP. I borrowed it from a friend, nearly 30 years ago, when I was just learning music. I learnt the keyboard riff from I Wanna Be Your Lover and everything.

It's here (or here for the US), where it's quite pricey. But searching for it by the ISBN number visible in the pic, you can find it from a few other sellers, e.g. Amazon. Seems to be a lot of other old stuff on Ebay too. I've got D&P, , TGE, and great one with a full score (i.e. with guitar, bass, drums, keyboards and vocals transcribed) for the Purple Rain album somewhere.

I remember seeing this one in the muzak stow. I was all excited about it, as usually you just get your standard vocal/piano parts (and guitar tabs). Sadly, I was a young kid with no allowance, or at least not the kind required for such a purchase.

A little out of topic, I remember a special Guitarist Magazine (or was it Musician), with "Let's Go Crazy" completely deconstructed, accompanied by an audio CD, where each part was soloed (not from the original, obviously). Very musical, utterly interesting.

I have that book, bought at time of release. Bought as it contains the music for I Wanna Be Your Lover, I Feel For You and Manic Monday which I didn't already have from music books of albums.
