* Are you really a Prince fan because you clearly seem very undereducated about his long line of socio-political songs? Even songs that he wrote for other people, like "Uncle Sam," "Paris 1798430," and "U Will Be Moved," show how much you don't seem to know. So, I guess it would be a waste of time to mention "Ronnie Talk to Russia," The Rainbow Children, "Dear. Mr. Man," and so many more. But, do me a favor. Go listen to "Cinnamon Girl" or "Baltimore" and see if Prince would have a problem with Lee's use of the song. Now, personally, after seeing and loving BlacKkKlansman, I don't think the song fits emotionally with the trailer, but, politically, Prince certainingly didn't have a problem drawing lines in the sand. Oh yeah, have you forgotten that Lee direcdted the video for "$ Don't Matter 2nite?" with all of this information, I'm convinced that there is no way that you could be a Prince fan. Are you secretely a robot troll working for SineadeO'Connor?

It's hilarious how people are telling me that I don't know Prince while also saying that Prince would have no problem letting his work be politicized because he's previously worked with Spike Lee. Get out the 80s kids and realize that Prince grew as a person. [Edited 8/25/18 15:35pm]
