Adam Levine did a pretty good cover with Train for a Howard Stern bash in 2014. It was a straightforward cover but Levine wailed on the guitar at the end (he’s a better guitar player than I thought). BK Jackson also did a pretty amazing sax instrumental at a college grad ceremony. But honestly no one should cover this song. It never feels right.
