Me too...damn good song. I wish he had a video for LOVE, Breakdown, Rockhard in a funky place (that would hysterical), Way Back Home, Pink Cashmere, the Future, and his version of Shhh. There are so many songs he should have had videos for and a few songs I wish he hadn't made videos for.

If he would have just filmed some more of his videos outside of Paisley, songs like ICP&C would be quite funny in video form.

I have never seen a music video I liked.... I have never heard a song via a music video that wouldn't have been better heard without a video attached, detracting from it.

Yep the full version is out there. It's so fun and is a great throwback to 60s and 70s variety shows like Sonny & Cher, The Smother's Brothers, Laugh-In, Dinah Shore, Mike Douglas, Donny & Marie, etc.

Honorable Mention to "Why You Wanna Treat Me So Bad" for simply not having more airplay with that cloud bass.

The thing is, the vast majority of Prince videos are just performance videos. Pretty boring, really. He wasn't breaking ground with anything. Think about it, the biggest "ooohhss" some fans have offered is that he is wearing jeans in "Little Red Corvette" (arguably the last time we really saw him in denim besides some SOTT stuff), and the blue screen suit for "Raspberry Beret". Stuff like "Take Me With U", "I Would Die 4 U/Baby I'm A Star", "America", "I Could Never Take The Place Of You Man", "Anotherloverholenyohead", were all lifted from various concerts or films. Anything from SOTT or Graffiti Bridge and most of Purple Rain existed solely to promote the movie.

"Betcha By Golly Wow" was the closest he'd had to a real storyline in a video to that point; but that doesn't dismiss stuff like "Diamonds and Pearls" with its beautiful imagery, "Gett Off"'s onslaught of remix videos, the fuckfest that were videos for album. "Batdance" was visually fun and interesting, yet "I Wish U Heaven" was another blue screen orgy. "Glam Slam" felt like it was shot on the leftover "Control" set for Janet's video, but it's still 100x more interesting than the duo boredom of "Dirty Mind" and "Uptown". Hell, even Michael Jackson shot "Don't Stop" and "She's Out Of My Life" on the same day in the same studio but had the good sense to change clothes.

Prince really took a miser's approach to video making. It's like he wanted to spend as little money as possible on any production. It was only when WB was doing a bigger push for a reboot to this sales that more money seemed to be involved (eg: Lovesexy, Diamonds & Pearls, Batman).
