Very petty!!!

We have to remember that behind these actions is a man/woman who hide behind a corporation.

They are very sad individuals with nothing important to them in their lives.

They need to be named and shamed.

Maybe the answer is to keep posting videos so they are overwhelmed or simply boycott Purple Rain and hit them in their pocket - after all money talks and it is the only language they know!!

Due to the outcry from the public they reversed their decision, and allowed for the video to be put back up.

Hey, Universal, how about going after the thiefs and bootleggers who are selling pirated and counterfeit Prince CDs left and right, from eBay to Discogs instead?

And when you're done with that, you can perhaps also focus on all those unauthorised live releases that are all over Amazon and all the biggest streaming services too. I know that's a lot more complicated issue legally, but that's what you have a legal department for to figure it out, isn't it.

Removing a video off YouTube is something your 18 year old intern can do with a few clicks. Maybe you should put a bit more effort into genuinely protecting Prince's publishing.

rogifan posted a thread on this first, and it stated the decision was reversed. Which one is it rogi? Also, this thread needs to be lockdance and redirected there if rogifan's thread is the most up to date on the decision
