It does mention that Vanity had an affair with the director Albert Magnoli during the filming of P.Rain, which was one of the main reasons she was let go. --- Good lord why ??? Best guess -- Because Prince was hitting it too and he doesn't like anyone getting any of his action.  --- No, I know she was let go if she slept with Albert. My thing is why would she slept with the director. Even as a way to piss off Prince she could have found someone better. Oh ok. In that case, she probably thought it would further her acting career in some way. Little did she know if she had taken the movie seriously she would have gotten all the press that Crappalonia did. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
