Emancipation disc 4

Alot people are always trying to whittle Emancipation down to a single disc album. I love the album so decided to make a fourth disc. I managed to meet the 12 song criteria, to my mind there were only 15 songs that I could have used from this time period.

2020
Slave 2 The System
Eye am the DJ
Feel Good
She Gave Her Angels
Love Never Has 2 say Goodbye
Playtime
Van Gogh
Journey 2 the Center of ure heart
Stone
I'll Never B Another Fool
Goodbye.

Songs left off.

1000 hugs and Kisses. (sound quality wasn't good enough, other wise this would be on it)

Funky Design (Even though it was on the hand written traclist posted by Steve Parke, I just don't think it fits)

The Dance (This version already has a good home on The Chocolate Invasion)


It's an enjoyable listen and nice to give these stray songs a home.

How come you think the original version of The Dance is from that time period? Excuse me asking that, but maybe I just missed that information.

Interestingly the unreleased tracks from the different album configurations could make a CD - I don't know if they are all circulating:

I don't know if Prince did Emancipation sessions as I think he didn't really work like that as even some of the tracks above are a few years old.

I forgot about the song Livin 2 Die. I can't find a copy of that song on my computer. If I remember rightly wasn't it a bad quality radio rip that was leaked.

I really need to find sometime and organise my Prince files.
