I’m going to be travelling (without a computer) for the next six weeks, so knowing my luck the gates are just about to open and we are just talking be flooded with new leaks I won’t be able to listen to...
Now, on a serious note, the estate will be irrelevant very soon if they don’t sort themselves out. I had most of these songs but just the upgrade in sound makes it more interesting for me than the 83 Piano thing that they are going to release...

All of the tracks already leaked / released in the past on diffrent sets

A few tracks on this complation are slightly diffrent versions then the old leaks.

Quality on all tracks are better on this release

Didn't someone compile this from existing tracks when the artwork leaked? I seem to have a vague memory of such. Glad to hear this one is a rip of the actual CD.

Four Prince albums in a year's time? You must be joking! But it would have been a nice album. Another one in the "nothing ground-breaking, but still nice to hear" category. And the "no more, that's the end" in Dinner With Dolores would all of a sudden make a whole lot more sense.

That would be totally amazing and off the scale!!!

This was such an awesome show. We were all so very tighly packed in the audience and it was so very hot. We waited for Prince for ages, but it was worth the wait.

I remember Mayte all night did the same repetitive dance move over and over... she looked knackered, particularly as it was so hot in there!!!

The Estate probably don't even know what this music is and that there's any demand among fans for it. There's no credible fan representation or general knowledge about the vault and the unreleased projects fans are interested in.

Troy might be adequate for purely commercial releases (and that is debateable), but that likely applies to only a relatively small percentage of the vault's contents. The only way in their purely business terms, to monetise the rest, is to establish some kind of service for hardcore fans. But thus far they are missing the boat.

The upcoming P&M '83 release even manages to disappoint both the casual, commerical audience and the hardcore fanbase in equal measure, which is quite a feat.

I don't know guys, I like the this for sure. But, I would be just as disappointed if an official release of this was coming in September as I am about P&M83. They're BOTH great, and I want both of them in the best quality possible, but, neither would satisfy me as the first vault release or as the only release of the year. Just like P&M83, a release like this would make more sense as part of a larger release.

In my not-so-humble (and not very popular) opinion, of course... wink

These sort of releases 'probably' need to be considered as CD2 (or 3 or 4) to complement a main release.

Considering the pedigree of this release, it's really no surprise at all that the tracks (and the disc) are not "mastered". Clearly some of this material is much better than the previous "widely circulating tracks". I actually assumed that some of the variance with the level was a "tag" by whomever leaked it.

Some of these are in clearly superior quality.

If this London Emporium recording of 'Poor Goo' was available in soundboard quality before I've certainly never heard it.

The early version of 'Soul Sanctuary' is also in excellent quality.

just looked up the emporium show on princevault. wow! i never knew they performed
the entire undertaker album (sans dolphin). i think this is the only time he performed
an album in it's entirety in the original sequence, right?

anyway, that show looks freaking amazing. i'm gonna have to dive into my drives to
check if i have this somewhere and give it a thorough listen.

also: entrance was just 20 pounds. man, those were the days! eek cool

After hearing Poor Goo on this new leak I gave the Emporium shows a listen.

Would be awesome to have them in this quality but we can only dream... He's still teasing us from the after-life
